In a recent conference call that took place with proven leaders in our company an important point was brought forward. Leads really need to be contacted! If you are unfamilar with the terms leads, they are potential customers which are team members in the direct sales affiliate marketing industry.
In the online marketing space leads are usually created when people enter their name and email on your website, thus raising their hand to find out more info about your business/products or service. Beacuse of the follow-up systems in place, the high volumn of leads generated and the belief/fact that many leads are not serious or qualified a lot of marketers have decided not to contact these people unless they move forward and purchase an application.
However, due to skepticism a lot of people “leads” are not willing to purchase anything online in your case an application unless they have spoken to a real person. It will really increase your conversion of leads to sales if you get on the phone and make the effort to connect with these individuals. To save yourself time you can hire an assistant to do this for you. Training them on the business and making them awhere of the types of question they will receive is not difficult but simply relieing on email autoressponder messages and the online automated system will cause you to lose out on building your business and being successful in this industry, as this industry is built on building solid relationships.

It’s a super wet Tuesday evening here and as we drive up the highway home after a busy day at our antique shop with a challenging end, it sparked a valuable message for people looking for a online direct sales business.
Business is the hardest business on the planet! It’s the main reason so many prefer to be employees.
You’re going to get nasty customers and refunds which cost you time and money in a traditional business. You’re going to get lazy whining team members that quit complaining they got scammed and there is nothing you can do about it if you want to be in business.
However, if you’re really passionate about your business and enjoy what you do, likely you’ll have way more customers or team members that see the world positively and take responsibility. Making your venture a joy to be able to do.
Don’t let the rotten apples spoil your day. Different posture is needed for various situations and you will need to adapt on a case by case bases. But bottom line if you don’t have the mentality to embrace challenges and wake-up to overcome problems, being your own boss may not be best for you.

When you’re searching for an online home based business it’s important to not forget the main goal achieved from the business. Yes, you will leverage your time. Yes, you will leverage your money. But how this happens is because of the marketing & sales funnel that is always at work.
Aside from sex (which leads to birth and population) sales drives the economy. Depending on your outlook they can both be a lot of fun. As you know people like to buy but they do not like being sold too.
With that in mind look at a grocery store as an example of a sale funnel. It is positioned in a busy shopping centre with ample parking for the traffic. The doors are wide and allow everybody in free. Expensive items are placed along the outside and others in the middle, they know people are more likely to do a lap around the store then walk every isle. Also there are additional products by the checkout so that people can make impulse buying decisions. Not everybody entering the grocery store will buy but a percentage will.
The biggest take away from this example of a sales funnel is that it is set-up so that sales happen without people being sold to. The same is true with an online marketing businesses sales funnel. Ads are placed that look and sound appealing which drives the traffic, systems are in place to do all the telling and selling and a percentage buy. The internet allows the average person access to the largest distribution channel to gain exposure on their brand You.inc. Celebrities have always had access to the big numbers through: print, radio and TV which is the only reason why they are able to have the sales volume they do. The viewer on their own time is able to: watch, listen and read what exactly is being promoted. The person promoting leads by offering value in the form of education. This allows the viewer to hold the marketer on a pedestal, as the viewer gained something for free from the experience. Provided it is quality information that can help the viewer or customer get from where they are to where they want to go the marketer will get their business.
This is the first step to allowing the customer to get to: know, like and trust who they are doing business with. These are the three key elements in the sales process.
The great thing about online business is that once you set up your marketing & sales funnel it does all the: telling, selling, sifting and sorting while you’re doing other things. That’s leverage!
