New Year & New Goals or…

Posted by | Posted in Abundance, Business, Direct sales, Goals | Posted on 14-01-2011

Hi folks,

After an awesome December driving an insane amount of traffic to our antique and jewellery shop I feel confident that Google Adwords still works, lol! However as you might know, not so much for this industry!

Fortunately facebook and the Yahoo/MSN merger are proving to be good ways to drive traffic! As well CPA networks are growing in populairty especially viable to JVs due to the higher price point to test!

Quickly wanted to remind you about the importance of setting goals. Without a clear concise direction it is next to impossible to attain your desired outcome. In this business to meet your sales targets you need to have a good idea of you conversion rate and work backwards. Thus if your goal is $10K how many leads is that going to take and how many visitors will it take to get those leads etc…

Till next time like Red Green would say… Keep your stick on the ice!

The Almost Brutally Killed 3 Coins Restaurant…

Posted by | Posted in Business, Happyness, Networking | Posted on 07-11-2010

Afternoon business people and sports fans.

3 Coins Restaurant.jpg

I am currently in the 3 coins dinner and just finished a late breakfasts. This place use to be my favorite spot to grab a nice greasy spoon breakfast. However about seven years ago the owner got a bit mouthy with some of the regulars and word traveled fast.

Needless to say a lot of people stopped coming, myself included.

Well today after finishing picking my teams in the little legal sports gambling thing that we have in Ontario I was starving and really in the mood for breakfast. Even though it was nearly 1:00PM and that’s on top of setting the clock back.

I decided to give 3 coins another shot.

To my surprise the restaurant has a new owner and staff. The food is as great as I remember (for a nice trucker style breakie) and I am having such a nice fun and relaxing time I chose to write about it.

Someday when I get to know the owner better I’ll ask if he knew about the bad blood the previous owner caused.

The place is literally hopping, rumor must be back that this place is good again and I wish them continued success.

The real point here is how quickly you can kill your good customers and luckily for the last guy that found a buyer when the place slowed down. Most might not be as fortunate.

It’s easier to keep customers than get new ones by building and forming relationships. Furthermore, when you lose customers it is very hard to get them back as they tend to tell all their friends about why they left!

This to true just the same in your online network marketing and directs sales business. The better the relationships you form with your lists, the community and your team the more respect you will gain. Ultimately leading to long term partnerships causing you to make a lot of money in the process.

Well thats my two cents for today. Buffalo plays home in Toronto to Chicago for there annual event and I am excited to see them win a game.

Have a great one!

The MLM Scam / Review Team Update That You Can Get An Inside Look At!

Posted by | Posted in Business, CCPRO Scam, Copy Writing, Direct sales, MLM, Marketing, Network Marketing | Posted on 30-10-2010

Afternoon,

I just sent this off to my team and wanted to let you in on little secret that’s a sneaky strategy!

“Team,

In case you haven’t discovered yet two great words to add on to any industry company name or public figure when doing ppc, video, articles, posts etc… are Scam & Review.

i.e – Mike Dillard Scam?
or – Mike Dillard Review!

Is Away a Scam?

or

The dirty Amway Review!

People are skeptical by nature and drawn to pessimistic headlines or optimistic ones as they would rather not lose than gain.

Of course you’re content will end up persuading people in a optimistic fashion, but in order to get their attention and open your marketing material you need to be creative.

Until next time, head up and stick on the ice. ;-)

The Hardest Business On The Planet

Posted by | Posted in Business, Happyness, Marketing, Sales | Posted on 27-10-2010

Hey folks,

It’s a super wet Tuesday evening here and as we drive up the highway home after a busy day at our antique shop with a challenging end, it sparked a valuable message for people looking for a online direct sales business.

Business is the hardest business on the planet! It’s the main reason so many prefer to be employees.

You’re going to get nasty customers and refunds which cost you time and money in a traditional business. You’re going to get lazy whining team members that quit complaining they got scammed and there is nothing you can do about it if you want to be in business.

However, if you’re really passionate about your business and enjoy what you do, likely you’ll have way more customers or team members that see the world positively and take responsibility. Making your venture a joy to be able to do.

Don’t let the rotten apples spoil your day. Different posture is needed for various situations and you will need to adapt on a case by case bases. But bottom line if you don’t have the mentality to embrace challenges and wake-up to overcome problems, being your own boss may not be best for you.

Until next time keep your feet warm and dry!

Actions speak louder than words

Posted by | Posted in Abundance, Business, Direct sales, Leadership, Marketing | Posted on 20-10-2010

G’day,

While it’s true that actions speak louder than words it’s our words that have a profound impact either negative or positive or our outcome. This can be the difference right off the bat in your success with your direct sales and marketing business.

Simple psychological tactics can help overcome some pretty big obstacles.

Replace:

I can’t afford it, with I’m committed.

I don’t get it, with I’m learning.

This is too hard, with this is a great challenge.

How we dictate out vocabulary sends out silent messages as to wether you see the glass half empty or half full and what you send out, gets reciprocated. People look to you for inspiration, motivation, passion and enthusiasm. Its necessary you wreak of this ultra successful sent.

Happy hump day,

Kirk
